Surfside Office Hours

• 8am to 1pm & 5pm to 8pm every day. If you arrive outside of office hours just call the number on our front entrance & the night or day manager will check you in.

Surfside Security

• Your security is paramount to us. To keep our guests & their belongings safe & secure we have locks on all bedrooms doors & entrances and we make sure that each guests has their own correct key. We have security CCTV in communal areas & provide an office safe for all valuables including laptops. There is a luggage storeroom avaliable for FREE day storage or a small fee for overnight or longer periods. We also have a non sexist, non racist policy ensuring that all our international travelers are comfortable at all times. 

Surfside Check In

• Check in at Surfside is at generally at Midday. If you do arrive early & we are cannot check you in straight away you will have access to the bathroom facilities, luggage storage, kitchen, laundry, Internet & TV lounge.

Surfside Check Out

• Check out at Surfside is 11am however late check outs are available for a small fee, esspecially after a big night.  This is subject to availability & must let us know you want a late check out by 11am on the day. 

Surfside Additional Services

• Airport Shuttle to & from the Domestic & International airports ($18.00)
• A Bank Account set up for you ready for your arrival ($5.00)

Surfside Travel:

• Surfside Travel Desk can book bus ticket & passes, trains, flights plus any tour in Australia & New Zealand.

Surfside Employment

Surfside will make every effort to help you obain & keep employment. We receive jobs every day of various descriptions. Come check whats new at the office anytime. 

To work in Australia you will need

• a Tax File Number. This can only be applied for once inside Australia. We can help you with this for just $5.00
• a Bank Account. We can organise this prior to your arrival so your cash card/ATM card is ready for pick up at the bank when you arrive. We can help you with this for just $5.00

• A FREE employment pack which we can email you anytime. The pack includes list of employment agencies, cover letters, resume examples, business card templates, and lists of construction, landscaping, paving & fencing companies.

• The VIP Backpackers Discount Card is available from Surfside Bondi Beach & Surfside Coogee Beach as we are a member of the network. It gives you discounts at hundreds of hostels, tours, travel companies all over the world. It is one of the best cards around as it accepted in more places than any other card. It's a great idea and will save you heaps of money. You can request a VIP Backpackers Discount Card on the booking form with your accommodatuion.
